SNelson Dressage 2010 Summer Schooling Shows at Woodbine Farms

ENTRIES: Make checks payable to Sherry Nelson. Mail entries to: Sherry Nelson, PO Box 26, Bridgewater, MI 48115 A COPY OF A NEGATIVE COGGINS MUST BE ENCLOSED WITH THE ENTRY. Post entries allowed, if time permits, at a $15 per class fee in addition to the regular fee. Entries post marked after the closing date are subject to post entry fees. FULL PAYMENT MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRY. A non-competing horse will be charged a $25 fee plus stabling.

STABLING: one day show: $40.00, two day shows (May and Oct.): $55.00
Shavings available at $8/bag. Please state on entry if shavings are needed. Stalls will be assigned on a first received and paid basis. Stalls will not be available until after 3PM on The Friday before the show.

RIDE TIMES: Available after 6 pm the wed. before the show. They will be posted on this website or you can call Sherry at 734-730-6862.

ARENAS: Sand arenas with vinyl dressage arenas, 2 large sand warm-up areas.

FOOD: Food/snacks will be available on the show grounds. Like last year, food will be provided by show management and donations are greatly accepted. Lunch may be sponsored by a group or individual. Contact Sherry for more info.

CAMPER HOOK-UP: $30 (Woodbine Farm only). Fee with entry. Campers must pre-register. If found plugged in at any time from Friday to end of show, you will be charged a $50 fee.

NOVICE DIVISION: Each show offers both Novice Horse and Novice Rider classes. Exhibitors may enter ONLY ONE division, NOT BOTH. A Novice Horse or Rider is considered to be any horse or rider in their first year of showing dressage as of January 1 of the current year.

JUNIOR/YG RIDER: Any rider under the age of 21.

AWARDS: Ribbons for 1-6th place.High Percentage awards will be given at each show for First Level Open & Jr/Yg rider, Training Level Open & Jr/Yg Rider, Novice Horse, and Novice Rider. A Grand Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded for each of those divisions at the end of the series, and will be presented at the October show. Awards will be determined on a point system basis: 7 points for first place then 5-4-3-2-1. per division. You must attend at least 6 of the shows to qualify.

REFUNDS: There will be NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON AFTER CLOSING DATE. Before closing date, full refund minus the $12 office fee.

DOGS: All dogs must be on a leash.

March 27, 2010 Dressage Test Riding Clinic & Show

Closing: March 13, 2010

Will be held indoors. You may enter 2 tesst. Please note which test you would like to ride on entry form. Your est will be ridden and scored. After that, the judge will verbally comment to you on how to improve your score and school you until your alotted time is up. Each test will have 20 minutes of ring time and will include the riding of one test and the schooling period with the judge.

$10 office fee,
$5 EMT fee
Stabling for day $35.
Auditors fee $25 for the day.

It may be possible to stable Friday night, check with Sherry first. If there are a lot of participants, we will carry over to Sunday. if riding 2 tesst, you will ride them back to back.
