SNelson Dressage 2009 Summer Schooling Shows at Woodbine Farms May 9, 2009 Copper Creek Dressage Schooling Show and Combined Test Please note that one May and the June, July and September shows _____________________________________________________________________ ENTRIES: Make checks payable to Sherry Nelson. Mail entries to: Sherry Nelson, PO Box 26, Bridgewater, MI 48115 A COPY OF A NEGATIVE COGGINS MUST BE ENCLOSED WITH THE ENTRY. Post entries allowed, if time permits, at a $10 per class fee in addition to the regular fee. Entries post marked after the closing date are subject to post entry fees. FULL PAYMENT MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRY. A non-competing horse will be charged a $25 fee plus stabling. STABLING: Vinyl stalls with doors in the indoor arena and stabling in the main barn. Stalls are $35 each from 3pm on Friday to end of day on Saturday. NO BEDDING PROVIDED. Shavings available at $7.50/bag. Please state on entry if shavings are needed. A $25 Grounds and Clean Up Fee will be charged for each horse not stabled. Either a stall reservation fee or Grounds fee must accompany the entry. Stalls will be assigned on a first received and paid basis. Stalls will not be available until after 3PM on The Friday before the show. RIDE TIMES: Available after 6 pm the wed. before the show. They will be posted on the website: www.snelsondressage.com or you can call Sherry at 734-730-6862 or email mirage9980@aol.com. ARENAS: Sand arenas with vinyl dressage arenas, 2 large sand warm-up areas. FOOD: Gracie's will supply boxed lunches and breakfast items at Copper Creek. Please see the food survey for Woodbine Farm. Click here to participate! CAMPER HOOK-UP: $30 (Woodbine Farm only). Fee with entry. Campers must pre-register. If found plugged in at any time from Friday to end of show, you will be charged a $50 fee. AWARDS: Ribbons for 1-6th place.High Percentage awards will be given at each show for First Level Open & Jr/Yg rider, Training Level Open & Jr/Yg Rider, Novice Horse, and Novice Rider. A Grand Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded for each of those divisions at the end of the series, and will be presented at the October 7 show. The Champion and Reserve Champion will be based on a point system and the rider must attend at least 4 out of the 6 shows to be eligible. FEES: S. Nelson Dressage 2009 Schooling show prices: Classes-Tests: $18/class _____________________________________________________________________ SCHOOLING SHOW RULES CONDUCT: All shows are herein run in accordance with the current accepted standard for the execution of Dressage Competitions. Exhibitors are responsible for knowledge thereof. TESTS: All test are the current USA Equestrian Tests, except the Walk-Trot test, which are USDF Intro Test A and B. NOVICE DIVISION: Each show offers both Novice Horse and Novice Rider classes. Exhibitors may enter ONLY ONE division, NOT BOTH. A Novice Horse or Rider is considered to be any horse or rider in their first year of showing dressage as of January 1 of the current year. JUNIOR/YG RIDER: Any rider under the age of 21. ENTRIES: Entry must be accompanied by full payment, with correct signatures and phone numbers. A negative coggins must accompany entry and be of the current year. Entries due ON or BEFORE the closing date. Post entries accepted with an additional $10 fee per class. REFUNDS: There will be NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON AFTER CLOSING DATE. Before closing date, full refund minus the $10 office fee. |
